Idea Hall is committed to helping children served by Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County. This year, in lieu of client gifts and holiday cards, we turn our attention to the work done by CASA and encourage your support through our holiday gift matching program.
The Orange County chapter of CASA serves over 800 neglected, abandoned or abused children every year. Hundreds more are on wait lists for a CASA advocate to mentor them through challenges that no kid should face. For many of these children, Christmas never comes.
If you are as touched by these children as we are, please find the Donate Now button on the CASA Web site, click through, and enter "Idea Hall holiday match" in the dedication area. We'll match your December contribution, doubling the impact of your gift, and together make a meaningful difference in the life of a child.
Thank you, and may your holidays be blessed.

PERC Water Corporation designs, builds and manages water recycling facilities throughout the United States. When the award-winning firm needed to recycle their marketing, they turned to Idea Hall. We turned out a brand new look and feel for the firm, and we're now rolling our design work into affiliate divisions of PERC Water.
We delivered a brand identity plan that featured a new logo design, corporate brochure, slick sheets, business cards and stationery. In keeping with their new tagline, PERC Water thought our ideas were "Pure Genius." The firm's Web site is now one of the best sites in their industry, thanks to a functional design that features an easy-to-use CMS tool for content upgrades.

The Law Offices of Charles D. Naylor was recently embroiled in a high-profile product liability settlement that was expected to make national headlines. Idea Hall worked with Naylor on a public relations strategy that generated maximum exposure for our client.
The case involved Chrysler’s bankruptcy and its impact on a jury verdict favoring a San Pedro, Calif. widow whose husband died at the Port of Los Angeles due to a malfunction by a Dodge Dakota. Naylor had the verdict bonded, and this past September the U.S. Bankruptcy Court ordered Chrysler Corp. to pay the victim's family $24 million in what amounted to a landmark decision.
Idea Hall worked with Naylor weeks in advance of the expected settlement date to draft a SMART News Release. The strategy worked, and the release went out moments after the settlement. The story was covered by over 65 print and online media outlets nationwide, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, CBS MoneyWatch and the American Bar Association Journal. The news reached 330 million people with an Ad Equivalency Value of more than $2.2 million and a Public Relations Value of more than $6.6 million.
"The media coverage has opened doors and given the firm a boost in phone calls from prospective clients and referrals," said Naylor. "As a small business owner during these economic times every dollar counts. I now see how an investment in a media campaign can create real business results." |

This week we speak to the emerging trend of companies that have survived 2009 and are now gearing up to tackle 2010 with a greater focus on marketing. Take a look at the Idea Hall blog and give us your opinion. After all, sharing great ideas is a two-way proposition.
